Nomination Deadline (EXTENDED)
All candidate nomination and referendum proponent/opponent forms must be received by 11:59pm.

Nomination Period Begins
All candidates must attend a mandatory orientation session.February 21, 2026
Campaign Period Begins
Candidates and proponents/opponents who have attended an orientation session may begin starting at 12:01am.
March 2, 2026
Voter Guide Publication
The Voter Guide, including candidate and referendum proponent/opponent statements, will be published on our website. Paper copies will be available at voter information stations during polling.March 4, 2026
Voting Period Begins
UVSS members may access the online voting system via the link sent to their UVic email.

Voting and Campaign Periods End
Campaigning and voting close at 3:00pm sharp.
